Insurance

ANS has worked diligently to develop a financial policy that will work for most of our patients. Regardless of what insurance you have, we are always happy to give you information, work with you, and provide as much help as we can with processing all of your claims. ANS participates in the following plans:

  • • Medicare
  • • Medicaid
  • • Beech Street
  • • Multiplan
  • • Qualcare for Barnabas Health Employees
  • • Coresource for Atlantic Health Employees

 

Beech Street and Multiplan are third party payers that administer plan coverage for many of the major carriers such as Aetna, Oxford, Blue Cross/Blue Shield. If your employer negotiated to use Beech Street or Multiplan as their plan administrators then you will find it written on the back of your insurance card. It might just have a Beech Street logo or Multiplan logo.  In that case, we would most certainly participate in whatever plan your employer purchased for you. Look on your insurance card.    

Regarding all other PPO, POS, Traditional and EPO plans: If you need surgery, we will call your carrier to authorize the procedure. Once authorized, we will proceed with submitting your claim. Our experienced billing staff will work with your carrier to negotiate the best possible reimbursement thereby limiting any out- of -network balance to you. Your deductible and co-payment will be billed to you and we are very willing to work out a payment plan that works for your financial situation. Estimates are available upon request.  Please give us five working days to forward the estimate to you.

If you have an HMO plan, please be sure to get an out -of -network authorization to come for your office visit or consultation. Should your primary care physician want you to follow through with our group for surgery, they will need to obtain an authorization for you to go out -of -network. Once that is done, we will contact the HMO with the authorization number. If they deny coverage for you to come here, we will present you with alternatives.
